Section 270
Prohibition Of Removing From Public Document Stamp Used For It
r> it: (1) No person shall remove, or attempt to remove, from a public
document a stamp which has been used for it.
(2) A person who commits, or causes to be committed, the
offence referred to in sub-section (1) shall be liable to a sentence of
imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or a fine not
exceeding five thousand rupees or both the sentences.
